Then God stood above it and repeated the promise that He made to Abraham and Isaac. God concluded with these words, “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you” (Genesis 28:15 NIV). Jacob prospered in the Promised Land.

“Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:6-9; see verse 5; Deuteronomy 31:6)
God was with King David (1 Samuel 18:12, 14, 28) and King Solomon (1 Kings 8:57). The eyes of the Lord watched over the Jewish leaders (Ezra 5:5). God’s hand protected Ezra the priest (7:6) and Nehemiah (Nehemiah 2:8, 18).
God was with the

What promises has God made you? What oaths? What assurances? What guarantees?
I thank God for my precious Jesus. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Jesus is with me always. May He be with you, too.
